what is cuticle oil for?

cuticle oil is for everybody! cuticle oil is for dry, damaged or manicured nails. can be used to help promote healthy nail growth, reduce breakage, prevent hangnails, and make your manicure last longer (normal nail polish and nail enhancements!). think of your nails as a dry fall leaf, they break at any pressure, and a nail that regularly uses cuticle oil is like a wet leaf, it's flexible and bends rather than snapping. plus, as a bonus they smell nice!

 

how much and how often should i use cuticle oil?

for best results use 3 times a day (if using pen 1-2 button presses each time, if using refill bottle 1 drop per hand), or at least once in the morning and once at night or after every hand wash. we want to keep the nail hydrated and flexible to reduce breakage all of the time!

 

how to refill the pens?

twist the button cartridge out of the pen and set upright on a stable flat surface. next take your refill bottle in the same scent (or a plain oil) and carefully fill to the etched line. don't overfill or it will leak. carefully screw back in at an upright angle as to not spill as tight as you can, and voila!

 

what are your ingredients?

jojoba oil, almond oil, vitamin e oil, castor oil, olive oil, and fragrance/essential oils.

 

will i be okay to purchase if i have sensory issues?

it's hard to give a concrete answer but personally texture-wise i cannot stand greasy or filmy oils, and have to immediately wash my hands however many times i need to. i messed with different oils and combinations to find the perfect ratio that felt light, smooth, non-greasy, no weird film, all while still maximizing benefits. it sounds too good to be true, but it really wasn't that crazy when i did my research on textures and quality! so hopefully the texture doesn't, but again everyone's sensory needs are different. then scent wise, i am a person that will get a massive headache and feel nauseous for HOURS if someone just walks by with perfume on, don't even get me started on candle or bath and body stores..... it's bad. as a result none of my fragrance oils trigger my nausea nor give me headaches. i would hope they do the same for you! i have received comments for some people with sensitive noses that some of my scents are too strong (the crazy fruit ones in particular) which i have tried to balance but is hard as that isn't a specific issue to me, i welcome any feedback and if you have any clarifying questions please email (popnotchcreations@gmail.com)or dm (@popnotchcreaitions via instagram) me to help clarify anything for you! i would love to answer anything and nothing is too much. :)

 

how long is shipping?

i ship every order within 5 business days. i try to aim for next day shipping in most cases though!

 

when do you release new scents?

every 4 weeks! unless otherwise stated.

 

why is my pen leaking?

 there are a couple scenarios, the cartridge might have loosened from use and allowed oil to leak through the ridges. or it might have been a fulfillment error on myself for overfilling it when creating stock. if this happens i will help solve the issue with a discount on future orders or a partial refund.

 

can i give scent requests?

yes! using the contact form you can submit themes or scent notes you would like to see, or spam the comments @popnotchcreations for something you want to see! this doesn't mean i will for sure make it but i take everyone's requests into note to make the perfect scents for everyone who shops my store.
